The Imaging Pilot Award provides funding for investigators in the following areas: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), optical imaging, positron emission tomography (PET), single photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT), and ultrasound.

The Award focuses on innovative imaging approaches which will lead to independent, external funding and publication. The program will prioritize proposals from early career investigators and proposals with a focus on therapeutic development.

• Award amount: $5,000 – $10,000
• This grant is for imaging costs only and may not be used for salary, fringe, supplies, travel, or other general expenses (OTPS).
• Number of awards: Up to seven applications are expected to be funded, with at least two being relevant to oncology.
