Columbia University wins ResearchMatch Match Maestro

November 1, 2018

Columbia University was an institute winner for the 2018 Match Maestro award from ResearchMatch.  Match Maestro is a friendly award shared among ResearchMatch institutions to acknowledge and thank those with notable achievement in:

  • Exceptional increase in # of volunteers
  • Outstanding increase in # of researchers
  • Innovative approach to outreach, education, or recruitment
  • Extraordinary social media
  • Outstanding number of new publications

The ResearchMatch liaisons within the Community Engagement Core at Columbia University's Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research played an integral role in creating the Spanish translation of ResearchMatch! Therefore, the Match Maestro trophy was awarded to Columbia for heeding the call to engage community members from a diverse background to take part in the Spanish Advisory Panel. By assisting the panel member in accessing teleconferences in order to communicate with other panel members, they made the translation possible!

Thank you! Alejandra N. Aguirre, Nayrobi A. Rivera, Dora Ventura, Linda Busacca, and Michelle McClave
