Irving Institute Announces 2018-2020 Precision Medicine Fellows

The Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, home to Columbia University’s Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program hub, announces the recipients of the 2018-20 Precision Medicine Fellowships.

Precision Medicine Fellowships train the next generation of leaders in the development and application of precision medicine science and methods to improve public health. The fellows are:

  • Juan Arriaga, PhD, Associate Research Scientist, Medicine/Hematology and Oncology, Co-Clinical Study of Novel Therapeutic Strategies for MYC-positive Prostate Cancer Bone Metastasis
  • Suying Bao, PhD, Postdoctoral Research Scientist, Systems Biology, Uncovering Causal Noncoding Regulatory Variants in Human Disease through Allelic Protein-RNA Interactions
