Irving Institute Announces 2019 Mentor of the Year Awards

The Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, home to Columbia University’s Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program hub, announces the 2019 Mentor of the Year awardees
The Irving Institute is proud to present the prestigious Mentor of the Year Award to three deserving candidates, Donna Farber, MD, Henry Ginsberg, MD, and Harold Pincus, MD. The Mentor of the Year Award is presented each year to faculty on the Columbia University Irving Medical Center campus in recognition of their outstanding guidance and support provided to students, fellows, and colleagues.
The 2019 Mentors of the Year are:
- Donna Farber, PhD, George H. Humphreys, II Professor of Surgical Sciences (in Surgery) and Professor of Microbiology and Immunology
- Henry Ginsberg, MD, Herbert and Florence Irving Professor of Medicine
- Harold Pincus, MD, Professor of Psychiatry
